Obituary of Richard P Pizzolongo

Richard P. Pizzolongo, 92, of Manalapan, passed away on Friday, March 26, 2021, at home. Richard was born in Bronx, New York and resided in Manalapan for 57 years. Before retiring Richard was a Script Supervisor for TV Commercials.  He was a proud member of the American Legion Post 434. Richard served his country in the Marines overseas in The Battle of Inchon, North Korea.  One of Richard’s proudest moments was meeting the 34^th President of the United States, Dwight D. Eisenhower. 

Richard was predeceased by his wife Margaret.  He is survived by  daughter Anida; son Richard and his wife Ingrid; daughter Margaret; son Eric and his wife Vanessa; and son Steven; grandchildren Brandon, Melissa, Nicole, Brianna, Steven, Michael, Mathew, John and Nicholas.

In keeping with CDC guidelines, masks and social distancing are required. Friends and family are invited to visit on Monday, March 29, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North.  A funeral liturgy will be held at St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at 10:00 AM.
