Annette Pittman Cutchin, 80, of Manalapan, NJ, entered into eternal rest  on March 25, 2021 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy, NJ,  after a brief battle with COVID 19. A very active and vibrant woman with no underlying conditions, she appeared to be twenty years younger than her biological age. Annette was the eldest of nine children born to the late Jonas Pittman Jr and Stella Bryant Pittman in rural Whitaker, NC on Feb 24, 1941. She attended the Nash County school system and graduated from Swift Creek High School, Whitaker, NC.

She relocated to the NY-NJ  metropolitan area after high school graduation, where she met the love of her life, Robert Cutchin, in Brooklyn, NY in 1960. They were married in 1962 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish in Brooklyn. Annette worked in the banking industry for 40+  years for various banks including Bankers Trust,  Banco Popular and Bank Leumi, retiring in June of 2001.

Annette and her family moved to Manalapan, NJ in 1986. She was a devout parishioner of St. Thomas More R.C, Manalapan, a member of the St Vincent DePaul Society and the Knights of Columbus Council 5903 in Englishtown, where her husband was a past Grand Knight. She was an active member of Jersey Strong Gym, Manalapan, an avid walker and took great pride in the upkeep of her beautiful home. Annette was a thoughtful, warm and loving person who knew all her neighbors, had many friends and lived her life with much concern for others.

Annette is  preceded in death by her parents, Jonas and Stella, her husband of 56 years, Robert, her sister Ernestine and brother Gilbert.  Surviving are her son, Jay Shawn Cutchin of Brooklyn, NY,  two sisters, Helen Lynch and Marcella Jones (Calvin) of Rocky Mount, NC, four brothers, Jonas Pittman III (Alice) of Clayton, NC, Melvin Ray Pittman (Gloria), Garry Marco Pittman (Rosa), and Clarence E Pittman of Rocky Mount, NC,  fifteen nieces and nephews and a host of relatives, friends and neighbors whose lives she touched.
