Obituary of William Lawrence "Bill" O'Reilly sr

William L. O'Reilly Sr., 81, of Manchester Township, passed away on November 7, 2014, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold. Born in Newark, he lived in Manalapan for 43 years before moving to Manchester three months ago. He was a proud Korean War Navy veteran. Bill was a chemical engineer for Fragrance Resources, Keyport and then a bus driver for Laidlaw Bus Company. He was predeceased by his first wife, Josephine and siblings, Ruth and Harry. He is survived by his wife, Nancy; his five children and their spouses, Kevin and Helen O'Reilly, Keith O'Reilly, William Jr. and Lisa O'Reilly, Frank and Laura O'Reilly, and Michael and Ericka O'Reilly; his step children, John and Rosalyn Harrington, William and Patricia Mascuch and John and Karen Zmudsky; his sister, Catherine O'Reilly; seven grandchildren; and nine step-grandchildren; Family and friends are invited to visit on Sunday, Nov. 9, from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. A funeral service will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Frost Woods Mausoleum, East Brunswick.
