Obituary of Mary K. Volpe

Mary K. Volpe, 93, of Marlboro, passed away on Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at home. Born in Brooklyn, she has resided in the Greenbriar Section of Marlboro for the past 25 years. She was a member of the Theotokou Greek Orthodox Church in Holmdel and very active in the Greenbriar community. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by both family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert, in 1990. She is survived by her three sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Fran of Marlboro, Robert and Lisa of North Edison, and Ronald and June of Staten Island, NY; four grandchildren; and a great grandchild. Family and friends are invited to visit Friday from 9:00 AM, until the funeral service at 11:00 AM, at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan, . Interment will follow at The Green-Wood Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Kimisis Tis Theotokou Church, Holmdel.
