Obituary of Dominick Botte Jr.
Dominick Botte Jr, 77 of Marlboro died Wednesday September 16th at his home with his wife, children and grandchildren. He was born and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y. and resided in Marlboro, N.J. for the last 5 years.
Dominick lived a lifetime of service to others. He served his country proudly in the United States Air Force from 1961-1965 as a Vietnam-era veteran. He served his city as a proud member of the New York City Police Department from 1966 to 1985; he was a detective in the Arson and Explosion division. He served his community for over 25 years in his family business, JTJ Drycleaners and Tailoring. After retirement, Dominick spent the last 6 years of his life spending all of his time with his wife, children, grandchildren, daughter in laws and son in law.
Dominick was pre deceased by his parents; Dominick and Lillian, and sister Anna. He is survived by his wife, CarolAnn Campisi Botte; 3 sons, Dominick Botte III and his wife, Noelle, Nicholas and his wife, Kathy, Christopher; his daughter, Stephanie and husband, Brian; 7 grandchildren, Nicholas Jr., Michael, Dominick, Victoria, Jason, Julia and Jeremy.
Visitation will be held at Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 U.S. 9, Manalapan, N.J.; Saturday September 19th, 1pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm, Sunday September 20th, 1pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm. A funeral service will be held on Monday September 21st at Freeman Funeral Home at 8:30am followed by a mass at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Old Bridge, N.J., with an interment to follow at Marlboro Memorial Cemetery in Marlboro, N.J..To leave a condolence or find directions, visit www.freemanfuneralhomes.com
