My favorite memories growing up we’re with you, sitting on your lap in your old ford pick up truck letting me drive the sod fields, fishing, and playing doctor as Johnny, Chrissy (blue eyes), and I tortured you. Although we needed up miles apart It always felt like home when I got to be around you. You never were big on hugs and kisses and you showed your love through food and nick names; I was your sweet pea and I loved that nick name. I never left with out a hug and kiss whether you wanted it or not, never once. I will miss you and I hope you are surrounded by family up in heaven, I am sending one more kiss and hug to heaven which I know you will cherish, and please send one more to Johnny when you get it. I love you soooo much Pappy, you were a hard working man that can now rest.

Aunt Rita and family,
I think of Uncle John and think of trips to N.J. in the summer and going to the beach. I, for some reason, was always scared of that big man but as I grew older I realized what a great man he was. A man who loved his family with everything he had. A good, kind, hardworking man that you could look up to. He now joins his eternal family in heaven with a whole new body with no more pain. He was welcomed with open arms by his sister and parents. Until we all meet again one day, RIP Uncle John.
Love and prayers

To all the Gibson's and their extended family, I've very sorry for your loss. Uncle John was one of a kind. He had the biggest heart. My siblings and I will l remember all the fun times, like the trip to the zoo and going to the ocean. All the candy and ice cream he bought us. My brothers and Bill will remember the hunting and fishing trips along with the stories. O how Uncle John LOVED to fish and hunt. He truly loved Aunt Rita, his children and grandchildren. When his "little sister passed away" he said, "when I pass away, the first person I'm going to look up is my little sister." The morning of 9/11/2020 God called you home to be reunited with your Heavenly family. Until we all meet again, RIP Uncle John.
Love

Pappy,
Little Chunky, Mark, and I will miss you so much. I will miss our witty banter and playing cards for hours on end. You cared so much for the family and I am so appreciative of all of the time we've spent together. We love you so much and it's not goodbye, it's see you later old man.

Dad, we will always remember your golden heart and how much you love Mom and the rest of the family. I will miss my fishing partner and our days of cooking together so much. I love you so much. You can rest now and wait for me because I will be with you again some day. Love, Joyce
