Obituary of John P. Cavaliere

John Cavaliere, 80, of Manalapan Township, died Sunday, November 2nd, 2014. Born in the Bronx, NY he has resided in Manalapan for the past 49 years. For many years, John was actively involved coaching Manalapan Recreation youth athletic programs. Prior to his retirement, he was a self-employed plumbing contractor in Manalapan. He was also a construction official at various times for Manalapan, Marlboro and Tinton Falls. John was an Air Force veteran who served his country during the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his loving wife, Carmen; his two sons and daughter, John, Kenneth and Johnine; and five grandchildren. Friends and family are invited to visit on Tuesday, Nov. 4th, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 AM at the funeral home followed by interment at Old Tennent Cemetery, Manalapan. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
