Although Manny and I only meet occasionally, I felt I knew him very well because my family spoke so much of him. Manny was almost a household name. There was always a story of what he did or how much he did and helped my sister, mother and others. When my father died, four years ago, Manny helped my sister clear out the my father’s property which took months and months of very hard work. Manny would be there Sundays or any time he had free. I had health issues and lived out of state. I was very grateful that my sister had a such a great friend as Manny. Not very many people in this world are that genuinely helpful. He was a great person and will be really missed.

My deepest sympathy to Michael and Tiarra. Manny will always be remembered by me and my family as he was family to us as well. He will truly be missed. Words can not express the sorrow that I feel today to learn of his passing. Rest in Power my brother.

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Manny was an extremely proud, dedicated and hard-working man. There wasn't much that he wouldn't do for anyone and everyone in his life. He never complained when dealing with difficult or frustrating situations but rather found a way to persevere with a smile on his face. Rare was the day that we didn't laugh together not only at work but during the countless times he helped me and my family with some crazy projects or while riding bikes at the beach and the Henry Hudson Trail. Those moments will be with me forever. This world has lost one of the kindest and most sincere people I have ever had the privilege to know. I am proud to have had him as my friend and he will be in my thoughts and prayers always. He will be terribly missed.

Manny was one of the hardest working and most genuine people I have had the pleasure to know. His bright personality and positive attitude never wavered, even on the toughest of days. He always made sure to put others before himself no matter the occasion, taught me some life lessons, and fought an incredibly brave and noble battle with cancer. He will be missed greatly, and I am thankful to have known him!
