Obituary of Gary Samuel Sorkin

Gary Sorkin, 76, of Howell, passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2020, Kings Manor, Neptune.  He was born in Brooklyn, New York, raised in Jamaica Estates, Queens, and resided in New Jersey for 40 years. Gary was a self-employed writer and enjoyed writing, painting, and the Yankees.

Gary is predeceased by his brother Stanley.  He is survived by his children Lane and Jennifer, and brother Robert.                                                               

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, August 16, 11:30 am at New Montefiore Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY.  The family has requested that any donations be made in his memory to the Michael J.
