Obituary of Biagio John Sciame

On Saturday August 8, 2020 Biagio Sciame, loving husband and father passed away at the age of 75. Biagio resided in Manalapan for the past 29 years  with his wife Joanne and son Michael.  Biagio was born on June 21, 1945 in Brooklyn, NY to John and Pauline Sciame. He served in the United States Army, from 1965 to 1971, during the Vietnam war.  He had a 52 year career at Merrill Lynch, where he held numerous positions, retiring as a Muni Bond Specialist.  Biagio enjoyed feeding and watching birds, long walks in parks, fishing, and going to the beach.  He was also an avid music lover, especially music of the 60s and early 70s.  He was known for his great sense of humor, infectious smile and kind and compassionate spirit. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.  He is preceded in death by his parents John and Pauline Sciame, and brother-in-law Tony Pompliano. He is survived by his wife Joanne, his son Michael, two sisters Leonarda Marshall (Thomas) and Anne Russo (Robert), sister-in-law Irene Pompliano, 10 nieces and nephews, 11 great nieces and nephews and numerous longtime friends. Service will be held on Friday, August 14, 2020 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Manalapan at 11:15 am.
