Obituary of Flora L Seter
Flora Seter, 86, of Freehold, passed away on July 15, 2020 at home surrounded by her loving daughters and devoted nephew, Rocky. Born in Cebu City, Philippines, Flora resided in the Philippines and received her Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from the University of San Carlos. After relocating, Flora attended Fordham University, NY where she received a Masters Degree in Business. During this time, she was an Instructor at Hostos Community College, NY; a curriculum developer for a private business school in NYC; and retired as an instructor from Middlesex County Vocational Technical School, Perth Amboy, NJ. Flora was a gifted pianist starting at the age of three. She could play a song after listening once, much to the enjoyment of her friends and family. She very much enjoyed the slots and Atlantic City with her sister Alice. Flora loved tending to her garden and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents Teodoro and Julieta Kintanar; husband Harold W. Seter,Sr.; siblings, Lily, Jane, Gloria, Wilfred, Ethelbert and Richard. Flora is survived by brother Dr. David Kintanar and wife Emma of Chicago, IL; sister Alice Kintanar, Freehold, NJ; daughters Rena J Chang and husband David, Freehold, NJ and Wanda L Paradise and husband Jim, Monroe Township, NJ; grandsons Peter, William, Zane, Jaden, Jimmy, Dylan and granddaughter Hazel; many nieces and nephews.
Flora will always be remembered for her silly sense of humor and the love and kindness that she showed everyone. The service arrangements and date have yet to be determined.
