Obituary of Alfred George Kunz

Alfred G. Kunz, 87, of Freehold New Jersey, passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2020. He was born and raised in Carlstadt, NJ, and then trained and served as an aircraft carrier pilot in the United States Navy after graduating high school.  After his service, Alfred attended and graduated with a Masters’ degree in Civil Engineering from Newark College of Engineering, Newark, NJ.  He settled in Freehold over 35 years ago and retired from his position as President and Founder of the computer consulting firm Kunz Associates, Inc. in 2009.  Alfred had many interests and hobbies such as watching baseball, golf, listening to music and playing Sudoku, but most of all enjoyed spending time with his beloved family.

 

Alfred was predeceased by his mother Marguerite,  father Alfred and sister June.  He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Sandra; his son, Michael of Freehold; his daughter and son in law, Nancy & Gary Swanson of Brielle; son Robert of Freehold; grandchildren Ryan & Kevin Swanson of Brielle.
