Dear Aunt Gloria,
I was sorry to hear of your passing. There will be an empty place in our family, but you will live on in our hearts. I will never forget your warm, kind smile and your sense of humor. I remember one time when my family came over to Aunt Tessie's house, my father had on this brown hat as he always had worn hats.
You had said to him "Where did you get that hat?" He had told you he had bought it at this place that sold hats near Bright Street in Jersey City. You had told him that he should get rid of the hat. He had asked you for a reason and you had told him it had looked like Mrs. Matera's colander pot. Everyone in the room had heard you remark and had burst into laughter.
