Can't believe I didn't know about his passing. He was a great guy. We used to joke around when I used to come into his office. I remember running into him and the Mrs at Hootie and The Blowfish concert and MSG. RIP Doc.

Dr. Boorstein was our family doctor for approx 40 years. He was my doctor first. Then when I got married he became my wife’s doctor. Then when the kids were born he became our pediatrician. The kids called him Dr. Jerry so from that time on he was always, even to us, Dr. Jerry. He treated us more like friends than patients. He even made house calls a couple of times. What doctor does that? Dr. Jerry. He was our friend. We will miss him very much. Our heartfelt condolences go out to Pat and the boys and the rest of the family. He truly was one in a million.....sincerely, Lance, Adam and Ethan Moutner

Jerry was so much more than our doctor for over 30 years. He and Pat were neighbors and friends. He was the most caring, thoughtful, wonderful doctor in whom we placed our trust. We shared so many stories about our lives and families. I have a vivid memory of standing with him at the hill where the library now stands, watching our kids sled down the hill after a snowstorm. He was funny and smart and always made us feel like we were important to him. My heart breaks for Pat, their sons, and grandchildren. Pat, we love you and are holding you and the family in our hearts and prayers.

I have been a patient and friend to Jerry and Pat. Jerry was the best doctor, always with the right diagnosis. Pat and I spent a lot of time discussing our children. I will miss those visits. Rest in peace and know that you will be missed by many. My sincere condolences to your whole family.

Dear Dr. Boorstein, we will never forget what you have done for us, we are eternally grateful. For the almost 40 years that you were our physician we always felt such a warm and welcoming feeling coming into your practice. Pat you never let any one of us leave the office without a smile or laugh no matter how much pain we were in or how ill we were. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this most difficult time. A piece of our hearts are missing and always will be, what an amazing man Dr. Boorstein was and always will be. You can never be replaced Dr. Boorstein. We cherish every moment spent in your office. May your love for your patients live on in all of our hearts forever.
