My fondest memories of Cookie were all the years competing with him on the rink. He made all of us better through his determination to be the best as evidenced by the never ending Championships. He was the glue that held it all together. I’m grateful to have shared in the laughter and celebrations with his infectious personality.
To Wendy and the entire Carucci family my heartfelt sympathy. Take solace in knowing that he may be gone but will never be forgotten.
RIP Cook...

Cookie thanks for letting me become a part of your Blackhawk family !! After going up against you and all the boys from Ft. Hamilton to Allaire it was great to skate on your side with many of them for some tremendous runs of games, playoffs and of course championships. You were great on the bench and 99% of the time made the right calls. I will miss hearing you say “ I know how this movie ends I’ve seen it before “ during all of our comeback wins !! I can go on forever with memories so just get the league started up there and make sure we all have a spot on your team ! God Bless your family !! Thanks for always looking out !!

A dear friend and formidable adversary in the athletic arena Cookie had a gentle side filled with core values that we do not see in our society today. We have lost a strong man, a good citizen, a loving husband, father and brother whose love of life was surpassed only by his love of friends and family. I think of him daily and all of the times that we spoke about living life to the fullest every day because tomorrow is promised to no one. Each time a puck is dropped going forward I will look to the bench for the empty seat. You will be in my mind and heart always. You are gone from us but can never be forgotten. We are all your legacy and we vow to do what it takes to uphold that legacy. Rest in peace my good friend until we meet again.
The Coach but never the Captain,
Deepest condolences from the Spinale family to the Carucci family,

I’ve known Cookie for over 20 years probably since I moved to NJ and started playing in Good Sports. We’ve won many championships together and played against each other in many more. He was always a tough competitor and although he may not have been the fastest skater - he was definitely the smartest player on the rink.
I miss his humor, his advice and knowledge on many topics that we’ve discussed, his competitiveness on the Pickleball court, I will miss playing with him and against whenever we start hockey again. I will miss him calling Jimmyzero - he started calling me that many many years ago. I will miss the hockey bbq’s - I remember the very first time I was invited to it, my son Nick was still in a baby carrier. I will miss our annual trek down south to go play Pickleball. Most of all I miss our friendship that we’ve developed through the years.
Thank you for all the memories.
The Lam family offers our prayers and deepest condolences to the Carucci family.

One of his many Champinships! One of his long time teammates was also in this, Reg, was on this winning team along with the other teammates here in which he would be able to dip into his, what seemed like a limitless supply of hockey players, black (Blackhawk) book. He was relentless forechecker, scored huge goals in championship games, and knew the game as well as played the game as it should have been played. He was a joy to be around whether it was post hockey game drinks/analysis or hanging out at parties! I know I mill miss him tremendously! The Sahadi family sends condolences to Cookie's family
