Obituary of Vito Antonio Predale

Vito A. Predale, 85, of Freehold, formerly of Colts Neck, passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2014, at Monmouth Crossing Care Center, Freehold. Born in Newark, he lived there until moving to Colts Neck in 1965. He was a proud U.S. Army World War II veteran. Vito was an executive for Wakefern Food Corp., Freehold, for over 30 years. He was predeceased by his wife, Sylvia in 2005, his son, Robert, and his sister, Jean. He is survived by three children and their spouses, John and Nancy of Bangor, PA., Thomas and Pam of Howell, and Susan and Bruce of Richmond, KY; his sister, Annette Mayfield; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to visit on Friday, Oct. 3, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, at Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street, Freehold. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM at the Reformed Church of Colts Neck. Interment will follow at Atlantic Cemetery, Colts Neck.
