Obituary of Vera Ciancia

Vera "Dolly" Ciancia, 83, of Old Bridge, passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2014, at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Born in Brooklyn, she has resided in Old Bridge for the past 40 years. She was a communicant of St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Old Bridge and a member of their Seniors Club. Dolly was a sales person at Macy's in East Brunswick before retiring. She was predeceased by her husband, John in 2008. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Tom O'Grady of Old Bridge, and a grandson, Robert O'Grady. Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, Oct. 2, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM, at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:30 AM at St. Ambrose Church, Old Bridge. Entombment will follow at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, Woodbridge.
