Obituary of Jo-Ann Aurello

Jo-Ann devoted her life to caring for family – her husband of 52 years, two daughters and five grandchildren.  Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Jo-Ann and her husband Charlie (deceased 2018) later moved to Staten Island where they raised their daughters Lucia and Gina.  Wanting to be close to their daughters and grandchildren, they spent their later years in Manalapan, NJ.  Jo-Ann loved nothing more than helping out with the kids and attending their many events from football & baseball games to softball games and dance recitals.   Everyone loved to go to Grandma’s on Sunday for fried meatballs and rice balls – no one else’s Sunday meals could compare.  Jo-Ann also enjoyed talking with friends over a good cup of coffee and a cigarette. 

In addition to her husband Charlie, her two daughters, Lucia and Gina and their husbands Joe Beauchamp and Pat Marzo, Jo-Ann is survived by her five grandchildren Nicholas, Louis, Christopher and Patrick Marzo and Genevieve Beauchamp.
