Obituary of Amy E Boylan
Amy Knedler Boylan, 50, a former North Brunswick resident, passed away on Sunday, December 8th after a short, courageous fight with lung and liver cancer. Amy was born on November 6th, 1969, in Anderson, Indiana to parents John and JoAnn Knedler. She attended North Brunswick Township High School and graduated from Stockton University with a BA in photography and a BA in education.
Amy was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She married Tim Boylan on September 17th, 1994 and they were happily married for 25 years. Amy was incredibly proud of her son Jonathan, 13, and loved him with all of her heart. She was a loving wife and a wonderful mother who was deeply loved and will be immeasurably missed.
Amy was a talented photographer, florist and artist who designed and created the floral arrangements and decorations for the weddings of several friends. She also created beautiful garden sculptures from recycled glass, and amazing candy sculptures for her son's school. She went out of her way to add special touches to all occasions for friends and family, and had a gift for making simple things beautiful.
Amy enjoyed the outdoors and camping with her family. She loved attending her son’s baseball games and cheering him on. She loved spending time at the beach with her family and watching her nephews swim. Growing up, she enjoyed spending time with her extended family in Washington Court House, Ohio, and often brought friends along to visit.
Amy was a kind, intelligent, creative, humble and strong person who always thought of others. Her family and friends are grateful for everything she did for them and all of the joy she brought into their lives. We will greatly miss her and we will always keep her in our hearts and minds.
Amy is survived by her husband, Tim; son, Jonathan; parents, John and JoAnn; sister, Darci; brothers, Matt and Nathan; and sister-in-law, Michelle.
