Obituary of Joyce Roberta Winter

Joyce Roberta Winter, 80, of Manalapan, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2019. Joyce was born in Queens, New York. She met her adoring husband Frank when they were in the third grade, and were looking forward to celebrating their 62nd wedding anniversary November 29, 2019. They raised their two children, Jeffrey and Elisa, while residing in Brooklyn, and crossed the river to become residents of Manalapan 43 years ago. She was a doting grandmother to her two grandchildren, Eric and Ethan. Being an epic cook, her matzo ball soup was legendary. She was an avid Yankees fan and an absolute shark when it came to mahjong. Joyce traveled the world with her family early on and then saw the USA with Frank in their motor home in later years.

Joyce was predeceased by her mother Roslyn. She is survived by her husband Frank; son Jeffrey and his wife Lynn; daughter Elisa and her husband Joseph Pallitto; and grandson Eric Winter.

Funeral Services for Joyce Winter will be held Sunday, November 24, at 10:00 AM at Freeman Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan (732/972-8484) followed by interment at Marlboro Memorial Cemetery, 361 NJ Route 79, Morganville.
