Obituary of Maria Ventrone

Maria Ventrone, 84, of Toms River, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2019. Maria was born in Afragola, Naples, Italy and resided in Jersey City, Lyndhurst, and most recently Toms River for 22 years after arriving from Italy in 1957.

Maria was a devoted wife, a caring and loving Mother, and a supportive and gentle Nana to her grandchildren. She had a passion for cooking and loved to share her Italian table with everyone. She was a friend to all she met.

Maria was predeceased by her husband of over 56 years, Aniello.  She is survived by her daughter Tina and her husband Stephan, her sons Angelo and his wife Gina, Thomas and his wife Dorothy, Michael and his wife Ava, sister Adrianna, sister-in-law Colomba, and her grandchildren Marie, Brianna, Daniel, Anthony, Nicholas, Anne Marie, Crista, Cara, Julia, Salvatore and Joseph.       

Friends and family are invited to visit on Friday, November 15, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Freeman Manalapan - Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North.  A funeral service will be held at St. Gabriel's Catholic Historic Church on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 10:30 AM.
