Obituary of Robert Anthony Arciero

Robert A. Arciero, 79, of Pompano Beach, Florida, passed away on September 4, 2014 at The Manor, Freehold. Born in Brooklyn, he has resided in Pompano Beach for the past 20 years. He was a proud U.S. Army Korean War veteran. Robert was a technical draftsman for commercial engineering at General Electric for many years before retiring. He pioneered neighborhood youth programs in his Brooklyn community. He enjoyed golfing and was a loving grandfather to his four adoring grandchildren. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Josephine in 2002, and five siblings, Mary, Anthony, Madeline, Gloria and Catherine. He is survived by his three children and their spouses, Letitia and Marc of Marlboro, Anthony of Alexandria, VA, and Deana and Sal of Atlantic Highlands; two sisters, Lillian Gestone and Anna Lucia; and four grandchildren, Ethan, Zachary, Salvatore and Giavanna. Family and friends are invited to visit on Saturday, Sept. 6th, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM, and on Sunday from 1:00 until the funeral service at 4:00 PM, at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan.
