My condolences. Mrs. Washburne was my teacher 94-96 at Intermediate. She was tough but she kept me on track always gave me the extra push I needed. She was one of the good ones.

Judy was a lovely person, and could always make me laugh and I loved chatting with her. Met her years ago in my Zumba class where we all danced together for many years. Judy, I know you're still dancing in heaven! She was much loved by all of us Golds Gym Zumba class.

This is tough. I am so sorry for everyone’s loss. Judy was an amazing spirit with such a strong purpose on this earth – I don’t understand why she had to go so soon. I am a teacher and in so many ways emulate Judy in the classroom. She taught me so much that it became part of who I was and I have always loved her for that. The love that she showed our students, the patience and tough love sincere kindness were beyond compare. My deepest condolences to everyone. And of course her sweetheart Art and lovely family. Boy did she love you guys. Heaven watch out - you just got a tough smart chick for a guardian angel. Much Love, Angela Germano

A colleague who quickly became a dear friend! She embraced life with passion, humor and caring. Those lucky enough to call her family, friend, teacher knew the depth of her devoted love and caring, and each will be the richer for having been a part of her radiant glow. Art, we hold you and your family in prayer and warm thoughts. Paula and Ed Desch

Judy was my first teacher assistant almost 30 years ago. She worked with some very difficult students. Yet, she always had a smile for everyone she knew.
I loved her very much. She will have a special place in heaven.

Dear Arthur & family,
How shocked & sad we were to read of Judy's passing.
WE remember fondly the laughs on the soccer fields with Gregory & Todd playing.
The comparisons we made with all our teaching experiences.
Too short a time but wonderful memories to always have with us.
Our sympathy to Arthur & Greg & the entire family.
Regards, jackie & ed
