Obituary of Josephine D'Angelo

Josephine D’Angelo, 86 of Manalapan passed away at home on Thursday, September 26th.  She was born and raised in Brooklyn, where she met Andy, her husband of 60 years.   Josephine and Andy raised their four children in Brooklyn before settling in Manalapan 8 years ago.

She is predeceased by her husband Andy; brothers Joseph and Jimmy Castro; granddaughter Laura Crowley.  Josephine is survived by her daughter Josephine Crowley (Colin); daughter Roseanne Mazzola (John); son Andrew D’Angelo (Elisa); daughter Maria Maniscalco (Anthony); brothers Augie (Gloria) and Eugene (JoAnne) Castro; Grandchildren Colleen (Charles), Christina, Angela, John Anthony, Nicole, Michael, Vincent, Michael, Joseph, Jack, Stephen, Sabrina and Andrew. 

A visitation will be held Sunday, September 29, from 4:00 – 8:00 pm at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan, NJ.  A funeral mass will be held Monday,  September 30th at 10:00 am at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Manalapan.  Entombment to follow at St. Gabriel’s Cemetery, Marlboro.    Donations can be made in memory of Josephine to the Alzheimer’s Association 23 Vreeland Rd Suite 105, Florham Park, NJ 07932 or www.alz.org and/or The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society – www.lls.org  To leave a condolence or find directions, visit www.freemanfuneralhomes.com.
