Obituary of Marie Concetta Gambino

Marie Concetta Gambino, 79, of Brooklyn, passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2019, at Coney Island Hospital. Marie was born in Manhattan, New York and resided in Brooklyn for 50 years.

Marie was predeceased by her parents, Anthony and Concetta; and her beloved daughter, Janine. She is survived by her son, Rosario; sister, Sara and her husband, Salvatore; granddaughters, Briana, Julia, and Jessica and 10 nieces and nephews.

Marie was beloved in her community and known by all anywhere she went. She most enjoyed spending her time with her friends and family, as they were the most important part of her life.

Loved ones are invited to visit on Sunday, September 22, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, at Freeman Manalapan - Marlboro funeral home, 344 Route 9 North. A funeral service will be held at St. Thomas more Catholic Church on Monday, September 23, 2019 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Forest Green Park Cemetery.
