Obituary of Catherine E. Dailey

Catherine “Kay” Dailey, 77, of Freehold, passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2019 at The Manor in Freehold, NJ.  Born in Neptune, NJ, she was a lifelong resident of Freehold. Before her retirement, she worked as a secretary for Foodtown in Manalapan.  Catherine was a parishioner at St. Rose of Lima Church.

Catherine was predeceased by her parents, Fred and Anna Quinn, as well as her sister Mary Ann Gant.  She is survived by her husband, James; her daughter, Donna Leonard of Freehold; her son and daughter in law, Kevin & Donna of Wichita, KS; her grandchildren, Michael, Amanda, Ryan, and Megan; loving nephew and nieces, Richard, Debra, and Barbara Gant & Jeannie Mansey; and close family friend, Christa McGackin-Dailey.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Freeman Funeral Home, 47 E. Main Street, Freehold on Monday from 8:30 to 9:30 AM.  There will be a funeral liturgy at St. Rose of Lima Church at 10:00 AM; immediately followed by burial at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery.
