Obituary of Isabel Marie DiStefano

Isabel Marie DiStefano, 90, of Honey Brook, PA passed away Saturday, June 29, 2019.  Born in Brooklyn, New York, she moved to Staten Island, NY shortly after the Verrazano Narrows bridge was built.  After all her children were grown and on their own, she moved to Marlboro, NJ with her husband Peter.  Six years ago, she moved to PA.  She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who loved her family dearly.  Isabel was a homemaker.  She enjoyed bowling and traveling with her husband. While in New Jersey Isabel and Peter volunteered with the Senior Club at St. Gabriel's Church. When she arrived in PA she enjoyed volunteering and assisting others at Tel Hai Retirement Community.   She was predeceased by her husband Peter in 2007; her sister and brother-in-law, Marion and Vincent Colonno, and her sister-in-law, Betty Damone.  She is survived by her three children, Carol and her husband, George Ferone of Queensbury, NY; Catherine and her husband Charles Fabiano of Cary, NC; Peter and his wife, Carolyn DiStefano of Downingtown, PA; her two brothers, Thomas Damone of Flemington, NJ; Rudolph and his wife, Ann Damone of Seaford, NY; six grandchildren, Melissa Scheuer, Steven Ferone, Jacqueline Williamson, Lisa Woods, Michael DiStefano, Kevin DiStefano; and six great-grandchildren, Madisyn Ferone, Camryn Ferone, Jackson Scheuer, Makara Ferone, Preston Williamson, Emily Scheuer.

Visitation will be Sunday, July 7th from 3:00 – 6:00 PM and Monday, July 8th from 8:30-9:30am at the Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Rt. 9 North, Manalapan, NJ 07726.  A funeral Liturgy will be held on Monday, July 8th at 10:00 am at St. Gabriel’s Historic Church, Marlboro, NJ  07751.  Entombment will follow at St. Gabriel’s Cemetery.
