I have known Lorie since the mid 1980s . I never met her dad. But through the years she often spoke of him, always in a positive way. She always had fun with him. I think she got her out going personality from her dad. Losing a dad is a very big loss. He taught you alot. Use his joy to help you and your sister get through this. He would wnat that. To Dave’s family, I am so very, very sorry hearing of Dave’s passing. My memories go way back to teen years in Cranford and a few after that. I hope your memories and love for and from Dave sustain you now and through the coming months and years. My deepest condolences and sympathies for the family. My son, Chris and I met Dave in 2007 at David Michael Mercedes Benz in Freehold. He was a beautiful man with a great soul. We will never forget him...!

Donald I was very sorry to hear of David's passing. I enjoyed very much being around the Stemmer family. I remember Dave singing some of the Platter's songs he sang very well. I will miss him. I am very glad we got together at Rudy's in Garwood last year. Every once in a while 6-8 of us go out to dinner if you would like to join us call me at 908-337-6674. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family Rich Reid

David, my sweetheart brother was a kind and loving soul. He truly enjoyed life & his easy going nature & great sense of humor assured him of many dear friends over the years. He had a strong work ethic but always made time for his loving family whom he adored! I will forever remember Dave as a gentle, affectionate and loving person. I’m sure going to miss my Dear uncle Dave...He was so much like his brother Robert ( my Dad). Larger then life personality!! He always was so thoughtful And kind to me as if I was one of his own daughters..Most awesome Witt, Funny, and loving personality!! He really cherished his Family...Going to really miss you, Uncle Dave, But rest assured I will see you again along with my Dad and all your other siblings,Relatives and loved ones who passed way too soon!! I love you, Dad, with all my heart and soul. You always said, “You’re gonna miss me when I’m gone.”, and you were so right. I’ve been missing you since our last real phone conversation back in April. I’m just glad that you aren’t suffering anymore. I look forward to seeing you again someday, when God resurrects you back to life here on earth, and you get to be happy and whole, and live the life you were supposed to live.
