Obituary of Thomas John Koller

Thomas J. Koller, 50, of Freehold, passed away suddenly as a result of an automobile accident on Tuesday, August 19, 2014. Born in Rockville Centre, LI, NY, he lived in Aberdeen before moving to Freehold 17 years ago. He was a senior account executive for Synopsys, Mountain View, CA for many years. Tom's daughters were his pride and joy. He loved introducing them to every adventure he could take them on. Friend to all, he was always ready to help with whatever he could, no matter who needed it. Tom was an avid golfer and loved to fish, water ski and snowboard. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was predeceased by his father, Bernard T. Koller. Tom is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Sheila (Turchin); his children, Dayna and Lindsay Koller; his mother, Amy Koller; his two sisters, Dr. Jeanne Koller and her spouse, Dr. Nina Seigelstein and their daughters, Emily and Hannah, and Jennifer Koller and her husband, Thomas Hoff and their daughters, Melissa, Christina and Danielle; brother-in-law and his wife, David and Randy Turchin and their children, Joshua and Adam Turchin; and many cousins. Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, Aug. 22nd, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, at Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street, Freehold. A graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:30 AM at Marlboro Memorial Cemetery, Rt. 79 in Marlboro.
