Obituary of Irene Baron

Irene Baron, 78, of Wall, New Jersey died on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune, New Jersey. Born in Bayonne, New Jersey, she resided in Colts Neck for 3 years.   Before retiring, Irene worked for the City of Bayonne as a Crossing Guard at Lincoln School and at Bayonne Fashions & Kasp Manufacturing.    Irene was a member of two bowling leagues and a diehard Yankee Fan.

Irene is predeceased by her parents Michael and Anna, husband Frank and siblings Michael, Helen, Mary, John, Joseph and George.  She is survived by her sister Barbara; son Frank; daughter Debra and her husband Dan; daughter Linda and her husband Christopher; and daughter Kathy and her fiancé William Regan; eight grandchildren Jennifer, Christopher, Rachel, Erin, Charlie, Alexander, Lydia, and Patrick; and five Great Grandchildren Fernando, Joseph, Nicholas, Daniel and Sawyer. 

Family and friends are invited to gather on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 from 2:00 – 4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm at the Freeman Freehold Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street, Freehold. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday June 19, 2019 at 10:30am at St. Mary’s Church, Colts Neck.  Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, New Jersey.  In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation at https://www.cff.org/.
