Obituary of Joseph Valentino
Joseph Valentino, 89, of Monroe Township passed away on Friday, April 5, 2019 surrounded by loved ones. Joseph was born in Newark, New Jersey and has been a resident of Monroe for twelve years. He was a Plant Manager for many years at the Metal Foil Company in Linden, New Jersey before retiring.
Joseph was a very kind and generous man, and always had a warm welcoming smile that lit up the room. He loved spending time with and caring for his beloved wife and family. Joe had a passion for horses, dogs, and the Yankees.
Joseph was predeceased by his parents Daniel and Mary, his brother Alfred and sisters Rose and Theresa. He is survived by his devoted wife of 60 years, Marie (Tambascia); three children; Joseph and his wife Theresa, Laura and her husband Charles, Celeste and her husband Randall; four brothers; Daniel, Ralph, Anthony, and Leonard; and seven grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Sunday, April 7, 2019 from 2:00 to 6:00 PM at Freeman Freehold Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street, Freehold, New Jersey. A funeral liturgy will be held at the Nativity of Our Lord Church, in Monroe Township, on Monday April 8, 2019 at 9:30 AM.
