Obituary of Benedetto DiPasquale

Benedetto DiPasquale, 71, of Manalapan passed away on August 6, 2014, at CentraState Medical Center in Freehold. Born in Sicily, Italy, he has resided in Manalapan for the past 31 years. He was a communicant of St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Manalapan. He served proudly in the U.S. Army for 35 years including during Desert Storm, and retired as a Full Bird Colonel. He then worked as an environmental engineer for AT&T in Clark for many years. Benedetto was predeceased by his brother, Anthony. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Katherine; three sons and daughters-in-law, Frank and Lynda, Ralph and Jennifer, and John and Michelle; his brother and sister-in-law, Carlo and Cindy; sister-in-law, Mary Ann DiPasquale; five grandchildren, Megan, Kaitlyn, Chloe, Carly and Ella; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Friday, August 8th, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM, at the Freeman Manalapan- Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. A funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, August 9th at 10:00 AM at St.Thomas More Catholic Church, Manalapan. Interment will follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold.
