Obituary of John Joseph Mazzotta

John Joseph Mazzotta, 88, of Marlboro, passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2018.  He was born in Brooklyn, NY and resided in Glendale, NY prior to moving to Marlboro 1 ½ years ago.

John served in the Army during the Korean War receiving several medals including the Silver Star.  Prior to his retirement, he worked for the Federal Government as a Logistics Supervisor for the FAA at Kennedy Airport in Queens, NY.

John was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Caroline; two brothers, Carmine and Pat; a sister-in-law, Ann Mazzotta; a brother-in-law, Gaspar Labita; and survived by his loving wife, Elsie; a son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Doreen of Manalapan; two sisters and brother-in-law, Sally and Tony Greco; Clara Labita; two brothers, Frank and Anthony Mazzotta; three grandchildren, Matthew, Kelly and Luke.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Freeman Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm.  A funeral service will be held Wednesday February 13 at 9:30 at the Funeral Home.   Interment will follow at Brig.
