Obituary of Carol Casciotta-Gaines

Carol Casciotta-Gaines, 79, Punta Gorda, Florida passed away on January 30, 2019 at Tidewell Hospice Center. She was born in Brooklyn, New York and resided in Freehold before moving to Florida. Before retiring in 2011, Carol was the business owner of Holiday Pools in Freehold. She was a loving and kind person who cherished her children and grandchildren. She loved shopping, Atlantic City, vacations in warm places, and animals.

Carol was predeceased by her parents Chauncey and Mary Van Arnum; her first husband Michael Casciotta; sister Rose Masullo; and son-in-law John De Simone. She is survived by her second husband John Gaines; daughter Kim Marie and her husband Roy; daughter Carol Ann and her husband Paul; daughter Michelle; daughter Jodi and her husband Brian; step children John, Michael and Shannon; eight grandchildren Roy, Michael, John Michael, Paul, Jessica, Antonio, Brian, Samantha; and five step grandchildren Ella, Liam, Keira, Gillian, and Genna.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Freeman Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan on Feb, 6, 2019 from 8:30 – 9:30 am. A Funeral Liturgy will be held at 10:00 am at St. Roberts Bellarmine in Freehold. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Brielle.
