Obituary of Thomas P. Brereton

Thomas P. Brereton, 41, of Freehold Township, passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2014. Thomas was born in Neptune and a lifelong Freehold area resident. He was a veterinarian assistant at the Raintree Veterinary Hospital for eleven years. Aside from being an avid NY Jets and Rangers fan, in his spare time he enjoyed fishing and bowling for several leagues. Thomas is survived by his parents, Thomas H. and Cynthia Brereton of Freehold; his sister and brother-in-law, Traci and Mike Soriano of Howell; his niece and nephew, Emma and Michael of Howell; his maternal grandmother and her companion, LaRue Hamill and Samuel Heron of Hobe Sound, FL; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, August 6, from 3 to 7 PM, at Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street, Freehold. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold.
