Obituary of Gertrude Dowalo

Gertrude Dowalo, 91, of Manalapan, NJ passed away on December 20, 2018 at Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center with her children at her bedside.  She was born in Donora, Pennsylvania and resided in Manalapan since 1969.  Gertrude was a communicant of St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church. 

Gertrude was predeceased by her parents John and Agnes Jozefczyk; husband Joseph R. Dowalo in 1995; siblings Joseph, Josephine, Julia, William, Jennie, Edward, and Stan.  She is survived by her daughter Jane and Carl Conway; daughter Patricia and Marty Boutote and son Charles and Joanne Dowalo and two grandchildren, John and Anthony Dowalo. 

Family and friends are invited to gather at Freeman Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan on ­Sunday December 23, 2018 from 2:00 to 6:00pm. A Funeral Liturgy will be held Monday December 24, 2018 at 10 am at St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church, Manalapan.
