Obituary of Catherine Lee Burke

Catherine Lee Burke, 51, of Manalapan, passed away on August 2, 2014, at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Born in Orange, she grew up in Hazlet and has resided in Manalapan for the past 15 years. She was a communicant of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Manalapan. Cathy was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, daughter and sister who loved vacationing with her family, especially in Atlantic City, and watching horror movies. She was predeceased by her father, George Duca; her mother-in-law, Lorraine Patalano; and her sister-in-law, Brigett. She is survived by her loving husband, Jim; her sons, James and Nicholas; her mother, Lena Paolello and her husband, Nicholas; her sister and her husband, Adele and Mike Giovia; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Frank and Janet Duca and George and Jennifer Duca; brother-in-law, Frank and Antoinette Patalano; four nieces, Nicole, Michele, Stephanie and Faith; five nephews, Frank, George, Conor, Matthew and Chase; and many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins. Family and friends are invited to visit on Monday, August 4, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. A funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11 AM at St. Thomas More Church, Manalapan. Interment will follow at Holmdel Cemetery, Holmdel.
