Obituary of Dorothy Schuster

Dorothy Schuster, 95, of Old Bridge passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2018.  Born in Brooklyn, Dorothy has been a resident of Old Bridge since 1960.  Before her retirement in 1987, she held various secretarial positions for the Old Bridge Township Board of Education for 20 years.  For her, family always came first.  She loved to cook and enjoyed hosting family dinners.  She was a communicant and founding member of St. Ambrose R.C. Church in Old Bridge.

Dorothy was predeceased by her son Joseph in 1952, and her beloved husband Herbert in 2005. She is survived by her dear children, two sons and daughters in law, Stephen and Janet of Old Bridge, and Peter and Kari of Ohio; two daughters and sons in law, Virginia and John Twardowski of Howell, and Diane and Anthony Allen of Old Bridge; and eight cherished grandchildren and their spouses, Karen & Tomas, Joseph & Jessica, Thomas & Nicole, Daniel & Candice, Timothy, Paul, Karlee& Corey, and Steven; and five great grandchildren, Giselle, Sofia, Madelyn, Cameron & Aurora Jane; as well as her nephew and his wife, Michael and Valerie; and great nephews John and Bryan.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.  There will be a funeral liturgy at St. Ambrose Church, Old Bridge Wednesday November 21st at 10:30am; immediately followed by burial at Holy Cross Burial Park, E.
