Obituary of Josephine Amato

Josephine Amato, 100, of Freehold, passed away on Wednesday November 7, 2018, at The Rehab Center at Wedgewood. She was raised in Brooklyn, New York and resided in Manalapan for 18 years.

She is predeceased by her husband Vincent in 1973. Josephine is survived by her daughter, Frances and her late husband Peter; her first son, Vincent and his wife Carol; and her second son, Joseph, daughter in law Henrietta; 6 grandchildren Donna, Joanne, Jeanine, Nicholas, Nicole and Desiree; 12 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. 

Friends and family are invited to the viewing on Friday, November 9, 2018 from 4pm-8pm, at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. A funeral mass will be held at St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church on Saturday November 10, 2018 at 10:30am. Interment will follow at Ocean View Cemetery in Staten Island.
