Obituary of Marianna Ellis Clowes

Marianna Ellis Clowes, 80, of Wall Township, NJ passed away on September 28, 2018.  Marianna was born in Red Bank, NJ, to Charles and Marianna Ellis.  At the age of 13, she became the organist at Colts Neck Reformed Church. Thirty-five years later, she was still the organist and choir director at the church.  She taught piano throughout these years, as well. She attended The College of New Jersey (formerly Trenton State College) where she received her degree in Music.

Marianna married Charles A. Clowes on March 11, 1958.  She had a great love for family, her church family, music ministry; and enjoyed many happy years raising Siberian Huskies.  She was a very happy, loving, and affectionate person with God totally in charge.

She was predeceased by her husband, Charles in 2004; she leaves behind her son Mark of Wall Township; son Duane and daughter in law, Lisa of Forked River; her daughter and son in law, Diane and Ray White of Wall Township; grandchildren Shannon Morrow and Jesse White; and three cherished great grandchildren Shayne, Ryder & Andrew.

Services will be held on Sunday, September 30 at Colts Neck Reformed Church, Colts Neck at 4 PM.
