Obituary of Raffaele Ralph"" Donofrio iii

Raffaele "Ralph" Donofrio III, of Colts Neck, died Sunday, June 1, 2014, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Born in Philadelphia, PA he lived in Camden County prior to moving to Colts Neck 35 years ago. Dr. Donofrio was an educator for over 30 years before retiring from the Freehold Township School System. Ralph is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Sally; his children and their spouses, Patricia and Don Collins of Colts Neck and Rusty and Jen Donofrio of Freehold; four grandchildren, Danny, CJ, Miranda and RJ; his father, Raffaele Donofrio Jr.; and his sister Marion Grasso. He was predeceased by his mother, Catherine. Friends and family are invited to visit on Wednesday, June 4th, from 5:00 - 8:00 PM, at the Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street, Freehold. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday at United Church of Christ, Holmdel. Interment will be private.
