Obituary of Frank Thomas Molinari

Frank T. Molinari, 92, passed away peacefully on Memorial Day surrounded by his family. He was born in Newark to Joseph and Elizabeth Molinari who were Italian immigrants. He graduated from Barringer High School and received a BS in Chemistry from Rutgers College on a full scholarship. He earned a Master's Degree from Seton Hall University. He served in the invasion of Guam in WWII and after his Honorable Discharge from the US Navy in Feb 1946 he married his high school sweetheart, Lucille Russomanno, who predeceased him in 1962. Frank was employed for 43 years by Pfizer, Inc and retired at the age of 67 as the Manager of Quality Control. His favorite hobby was dancing. Over a 30 year period he ran numerous dance classes for the Widows and Widowers, Parents without Partners, and Quail Brook Senior Center. He was a volunteer and devoted member of the Franklin Township/Quail Brook Senior Center for over 30 years. Frank is survived by his daughter Elizabeth Molinari DeFusco and her husband Dr. Carmine DeFusco of Marlboro; his son Joseph Molinari and his wife Karen of Allentown PA; and three grandchildren: Nicole and Michael DeFusco and Nicholas Molinari. Visitation will be Thursday, May 29, from 4-8 PM at the Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, May 30th at 9AM at St. Matthias Church, 168 John F Kennedy Blvd, Somerset, followed by burial at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 125 Central Avenue, East Orange. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations Quail Brook Senior Center, 625 New Brunswick Rd, Somerset, NJ 08873.
