Vince Norman, 69, of Freehold, died Friday, April 11, 2014, of complications from leukemia under hospice care in Hackensack. He leaves behind his best friend and wife of 32 years, Mary Lou Norman; and his four children: Dr. Amy Tamulevicus and her boyfriend, Kreig Embriano of Chestnut Hill, Philadelphia, PA; Michael Tamulevicus of Englishtown; JoAnne Norman of Sunbury, PA; and Carolyn Norman of Jackson. He is also survived by his beloved and constant canine companion, DiMaggio and his feline buddy, Miss Opie, as well as five grandcats. Vince was predeceased by his parents, Hans & Jessie Norman and his sister, Jeanne. Vince retired from the County of Monmouth, Building & Grounds, in March 2013 after 24 years of work including as a maintenance supervisor. He was a past exalted ruler of BPO Elks #1454, and a life member of New Jersey Audubon, and a charter member of the Pinelands Preservation Alliance. Vince loved cooking, classic cars, and British comedy. He also loved nature, including kayaking, hiking, and birding.
