Obituary of Raymond Vincent Carlisle jr

Raymond V. Carlisle, 76, of Manalapan, passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2014, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold. Born in New York City, he lived there until 1970, then moving to Manalapan 43 years ago. He was a proud Army veteran. Ray was a communicant and active member of both Our Lady of Mercy Church, Englishtown and St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Manalapan, and a member of the Knights of Columbus Council , Manalapan He was a telex communications manager for PNC Bank, Edison for many years before retiring. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 49 years, Anne in 2011, and five siblings, Irene, Dorothy, Loretta, Joan and William. He is survived by his four children and their spouses, Raymond of Point Pleasant, Robert of Manalapan, Margaret and Daniel Roush of Brick and James and Donna of Kissimmee, FL; siblings, Maureen, Kay, Patricia and Peggy; and grandchildren, Alyssa, Robert, Daniel and Matthew. Friends and family are invited to visit on Friday, March 21st, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM, at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 AM at Our Lady of Mercy Church, Englishtown. Interment will follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold.
