Obituary of Lucy A. Barnas

Lucy A. Barnas, 101, of Freehold Township, passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2014, at The Manor. Born and raised in Jersey City, she has resided in Freehold for the past 29 years. Lucy worked for Western Electric Company in Kearny for many years before retiring. She was a communicant of St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, Freehold. Lucy was a delightful woman and always had a smile for everyone. She was predeceased by her husband, Julius in 1995, and five sisters and three brothers. Lucy is survived by two sisters, Christine Guzzardo and Phyllis Gelsomino, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Monday, March 10th, from 8:00 to 9:00 AM, at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan, followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 10:00 AM at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, Freehold.
