Margaret Copeland, 86, of Monroe Township, passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2014, at University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro. Born in Brooklyn, she lived on Staten Island for 30 years before moving to Monroe Township 11 years ago. She was a teacher and guidance counselor for the NYC Board of Education in Brooklyn for 32 years before joining the South Beach Psychiatric Center on Staten Island. She was an avid reader and loved life.
She is survived by her daughter and granddaughter, Elizabeth and Kristen Canario of Englishtown; and her longtime companion, Ed Raser of Monroe Township.
Family and friends are invited to visit Thursday, January 23rd, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM with a service at 6:30 PM, at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan.
