Aniello Ventrone, 82, of Toms River, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2014, in Toms River. Born in Touro, Italy, he arrived in America in 1947 and lived in Jersey City before moving to Toms River 16 years ago.
Niel loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, as well as watching Italian soccer, horse racing and being everyone's handyman.
He was predeceased by his parents, Concetta and Angelo Antonio and three siblings, Teresa, Dominco and Michele; and in-laws, Tomasso and Cecilia. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Maria; his four children and their spouses, Tina and Stephan Mashel of Manalapan, Angelo and Gina of Howell, Thomas and Dorothy of Manalapan, and Michael and Ava of Cedar Knolls; brother and sister-in-law,Angelo and Colomba; 11 grandchildren, Marie, Brianna, Daniel, Anthony, Nicholas, Anne Marie, Crista, Cara, Julia, Salvatore and Joseph.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Monday, Jan. 20th, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 AM, at St. Gabriel's Church, Route 79, Marlboro. Interment will be private.
