Obituary of Ruth Shapiro

Joseph James Nicastro, 93, of Manalapan, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2014, at The Madison Nursing Home, Old Bridge. Born in Salerno, Italy, he was raised in Perth Amboy and has resided in Manalapan for the past 20 years. Joe was a U.S. Army Air Force veteran of World War II. He was sales manager for Chevron Oil Co., Perth Amboy for many years before retiring. He is survived his wife of 65 years, Edna; his son and son-in-law, Neil and Juan Valentin; and his sister, Lena Cerulo. Interment will be private.
