Obituary of Leo DeBartol

Leo DeBartol, 90, of Manalapan, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2014, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold. Born in Brooklyn, he has resided in Manalapan for the past 60 years. He was a World War II Army Air Force veteran. Prior to his retirement, he was a salesman at George Chevrolet in Freehold as well as maintenance supervisor for the Howell Township Senior Center and the Presbyterian Homes at Howell. Leo loved his collection of model trains. He was predeceased by his wife, Rose, in 2010. He is survived by his two daughters, Dianne Ruggeri of Freehold and Janice Willett of Howell; three grandchildren, Scott and Kevin Wall and Renee Veneziano; and siblings,Tina Porpora and Joseph and Richard DeBartolo. . Family and friends are invited to visit on Saturday, Jan. 18th, from 10:30 AM until the funeral service at 11:30 AM at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan.
