Obituary of Thomas Frank Formisano

Thomas F. Formisano, 62, of Marlboro, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2013, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, East Brunswick. Born in Brooklyn, he lived on Staten Island before moving to Marlboro 5-1/2 years ago. He was an officer of school safety in Brooklyn before retiring. Tom was an avid hunter and fisherman and he will be missed by his family and many friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Salvatore and Lucy Formisano, and his daughter, Honora Jo. He is survived by his wife, Joann; his four children, Michele (Jason Howell) Penna, Thomas Penna, Christine (Michael) Delaney, and Theresa (Onix) Quiles; eight grandchildren, Thomas, Stefanie, Hailey-Jo, Robert, Christopher, Jenna, Danielle and Faith; and three siblings, Alice (Donald) Chyla, James (Joanne) Formisano, and Diane (Joel) Berardi. Family and friends are invited to visit Wednesday, Nov. 20th, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday, at 11:30 AM at St. Thomas More Church, Manalapan. Interment will be private.
